Glad you’re breaking this “review” task into bite-sized pieces. ‘Gonna take some time….
First impression: I like the eclectic mix. New/old, folk, heavy, country, rock, classic.
Stay tuned.
Hank, As always an A+ for the wide spectrum both in terms of genres, ranging from Hendrix to Kip Mooore and timeline, Everly Brothers to Taylor Swift. One of the best eclectic playlists ever, even if it has a few too many country-western tracks for my tastes. I know I’m in the minority here but I just don’t get the widespread appeal of country music. Then again, I don’t get NASCAR either and that’s the most widely attended spectator sport in the country, looks like three hours of left turns to me. I’m anxious to see if and when the Beatles, Pink Floyd, CSN&Y show up on the next 200, glad to see at this point they are ahead of Miley Cyrus!
I love the Jimi Hendrix, Van Morrison, Elvis, Beach Boys. Try as I might, just can’t wrap my heart around country tunes.. They just don’t speak to me. Can’t wait to see/hear your #1 pick. Any Ray Charles in this mix? Wonder if Mugatunes Boy will weigh in here.
