Yesterday on the FAN, Joe and Evan were analyzing the Jets’ dwindling playoff chances. I have to admit — earmuffs, Robby — they were more bullish than I am at the moment. Their conversation brought to mind a recent family discussion about what Ricky likes
most. Of course, we then started ranking those “likes,” pitting playing in the snow vs. sleeping; going for a walk vs. playing with other dogs, etc. As I’m sure you’ve noticed, there’s pretty much nothing that’s not a competition in the Beagle Man household.
So here — though it’s only Week 10 of the NFL season — I’m giving you your first taste of the playoffs. Below is a bracket of What Ricky Likes. There’s no seeding. No favorites, no upset points. The entries
are presented alphabetically. Scoring: 1 point for a correct pick in round 1; 2 points for the
round of eight; 4 points for the semis, and 6 points for the finals. Fill in your brackets, and send them to me by midnight Nov. 22 — Thanksgiving day. (I’ve already completed, and tucked away, the “correct” bracket.)
