A Win-Win

I’m not really sure if there’s any logic to the connection between how the Jets do on the field and how I get treated — but it’s sure as hell there!  On Sunday, when Tampa Bay had all but stuck a fork in the Jets, Beagle Man was giving me zero treats, was late on my 3PM meds-and-banana, and was yanking my leash if I so much as tried to move an inch from the godforsaken spot outside Ozarkland where he was able to get Sirius satellite reception.  Then, after his

chain
Robby, this was a set-up! I had nothing to do with this — I swear! I was sleeping, for God’s sake!

beloved Jets pulled out their ridiculously lucky win on that bonehead late hit penalty on the Buccaneers, he pretty much offered me the whole bag of Crunchy Treats, called me a “good, good dog” over and over, and couldn’t stop stroking my head.  To tell you the truth, I don’t really root for the Jets, but if their winning means more food for yours truly, I’m down with that.  Oh, and speaking of the Jets, I don’t think Robby’s going to be too happy when we roll into L.A. and he sees the changes B-Man made on his Pathfinder key chain.  And one last thing:  As you can see, I always get a measly two inches of space when it’s my turn to write.  Now did you happen to catch the B-Man’s post yesterday?  Was that the longest thing you’ve ever read?  It was a good thing housekeeping at Best Western in Independence finally kicked us out of the room.  Otherwise B-Man would still be in there writing.

I plan to write The Roof Rack Report for this blog (#roofrackreport on Twitter, for those who follow me already on @BeagleManHank) as often as I can while we’re on the road.  Provided, of course, I get my necessary allotment of sleep :) .
